Corhabana International Choir Festival is an event that displays the best of symphonic, choral and chamber music worldwide. Chaired by Maestra Digna Guerra, Director of the National Choir of Cuba, vice president of the Caribbean Choral Federation and member of the World Federation of Choirs, it welcomes more than 30 groups that defend the choral tradition on the island. Participants enjoy a wonderful professional, cultural and social exchange between singers and choral specialists in Cuba through a cycle of concerts, workshops and face-to-face conferences given by world-renowned professors at the main concert halls of the Historic Center of the City.

Welcome to Havana! CORHABANA event starts on the 25th. You have arrived one day earlier, so you have time to recover from your flight and really enjoy first night inauguration. Meet your guide and driver at the airport and get transferred to your accommodation. Once you check in and settle in, get ready for the orientation session and bus pick up for a welcome dinner at a private Cuban Paladar.

After a delicious breakfast, enjoy a wonderful walk through the main squares of Old Havana and discover its colonial architecture and the warmth of its people. Afterwards, continue to visit the National Museum of Music, institution with more than 40 years treasuring the musical heritage of all times in Cuba.
Then continue to have lunch at a local private paladar located in the Callejon de los Peluqueros and be ready to either rehearse, meet participants of the event, and involve in activities programmed at venues selected.
In the late afternoon, go back to your accommodation, take a shower, and relax. After a lovely dinner, enjoy inauguration activity of the event. At midnight, your tour guide and driver will be ready to take you back to your lodging.

This morning, after breakfast, visit Finca Vigía, home and museum of 1954 Nobel Prize winner Ernest Hemingway. During the time he lived there he wrote many of his most renowned works. Take a stroll around its garden to see its pet cemetery, his fishing boat and the pool where Ava Gardner bathed naked. You’ll learn that the house is preserved as the author left it.
After your visit to the museum, continue to have lunch at a beautiful private paladar, in the city center. In the afternoon, take advantage of a masterclass on symphonic, choral and chamber works. Enjoy the opportunity of working with Digna Guerra, the director of the internationally renowned National Choir of Cuba.
Late afternoon, go back to your accommodation. Your tour guide and driver will pick you up to take you to enjoy a lovely dinner and the night concerts scheduled as part of Corhabana.

This morning you can take more time to enjoy your breakfast. Your tour guide will pick you up at 10AM to take you to explore the urban fabric of Havana at one of its most famous streets, Obispo and visit Almacenes de San Jose, both nice places to buy souvenirs for your loved ones at home.
Delight your palate at a local private restaurant and enjoy a refreshing Mojito. Early afternoon be ready to either rehearse, meet participants of the event and involve in activities programmed at venues selected. Once finished, go back to your accommodation and relax. Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at 7:30PM to take you to enjoy a night meal and afterwards the concerts scheduled as part of Corhabana.

So far your guide and driver have shown you so much of Havana that you may be enchanted by this wonderful city. After breakfast, take your time to visit Guillermo Tomás Conservatory where you will meet some students and professors and learn about the teaching-learning process in Cuba. Enjoy the performance of a students’ choir and participate in the workshop and masterclass on the repertoire of Cuban choirs.
Next enjoy a delicious lunch at a private paladar, and in the afternoon continue to enjoy the activities programmed as part of Corhabana.
Late afternoon, go back to your accommodation and be ready for dinner at 7:30PM. After dinner, enjoy the night concerts scheduled for the event. At midnight, be ready to go back to your accommodation.

Saturday in Havana! After breakfast, you will visit one of the largest, most prestigious and well-known community art projects in Cuba and the world, Fusterlandia. This is a neighborhood adorned with mosaic artwork as artist, Jose Fuster, has converted his home and much of the surrounding neighborhood into literal works of art. To get there you will do it in style, driven by the finest and most elegant cars in city, the famous American Vintage Cars.
On your way to Fusterlandia, explore modern part of Havana touring the beautiful streets of the Cuban capital, emblematic places of interest like the Revolution Square, and driving around the outskirts of the lush Almendares Park, the Malecón, the seafront promenade, John Lennon Park, the Vedado and Nuevo Vedado districts, and the Colon Cemetery.
Enjoy lunch surrounded by the incredible charm of this local project, and after lunch, return to the city center to delight with afternoon performances and activities programmed as part of Corhabana or have afternoon rehearsals. Once at accommodation take some rest. Your tour guide and driver will pick you up later to take you to dinner and night concerts. At midnight, be ready to go back to your accommodation.

Last day of your staying! Enjoy a succulent breakfast at accommodation and meet your guide and driver at the lobby to visit the Fine Arts Museum; the museum is a hallmark of Havana’s heritage, exhibiting captivating art from Cuba and the international community. It houses the largest collection of art in the Caribbean.
After your visit, enjoy lunch and optionally you may appreciate afternoon performances and activities programmed as part of Corhabana or have afternoon rehearsals. During the farewell dinner share the experiences and moments you enjoyed the most during your stay. Afterwards, enjoy the closing night concerts of Corhabana. Prepare for check-out and departure in the morning.

This morning you will be wishing you could stay a little bit more but it’s time to get ready to go back home.
The driver will pick you up 3 hours before your scheduled departure flight time to take you to the airport.

To acquire your Travel Visa, you can purchase it directly at the airport during your check-in process. In case you want it to be included in your package, please contact our team. An extra fee of $125.00 USD per visa will be added and you will receive your visa at the address you request. We only ship within the United States. Note it will arrive blank for you to fill out with your passport information. This tourist card is valid for 30 days. Make sure you do not misplace it while in Cuba since you cannot leave the country without it, and please, do not detach the two separate sides. Customs in Cuba is responsible for this.

A valid passport is required for the entirety of your trip. Make sure it has six months validity at the time of entry.
Cuba requires that all arriving travelers, except Cuban born travelers, have a Tourist Card or Visa to enter the country. If you are flying to Cuba via the US or you are a US citizen, then you will need a “pink” Visa. For those who travel from the rest of the world to Cuba, they will need a “green” one. You can get your visa online or purchase it at the airport during check-in for your flight. If you are a US passport holder residing in the United States you can also purchase it from us. We ship only within the US. Note it will arrive blank for you to fill out with your passport information. This tourist card is valid for 90 days. Make sure you do not misplace it while in Cuba since you cannot leave the country without it, and please, do not detach the two separate sides. Customs in Cuba is responsible for this.

Make sure to buy a roundtrip ticket or have onward travel from Cuba if you are buying one-way. US airlines flying to Cuba: American Airlines (AA), Southwest (WN) and Delta (DL). SST assists its clients with the airline ticket booking process if required. Please, take into account that your flight ticket will be booked directly through the airline depending on their availability for the scheduled date. Most of these airline tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you cancel your trip, the amount paid for the airline ticket and the travel insurance will not be refunded.

If you are visiting the island and staying on your own, you will probably find that most of the private casas in Cuba do not have wi-fi service available, so guests usually go to the nearest hotels, buy an internet card and access the service in the hotel lobby.
